CAD/PDM Customization

Without a customized environment CAD operators take more time to complete a series of tasks than those with a customized environment. They are unable to take advantage of quick commands and menus that they would typically use during the design process. CADD operators work with a user interface that lends no extra help to the features that they most commonly use in their design. The software is typically left in its standard set of menus, toolbars and command.
