Mebius IFilter for CATIA V5 - R15 beta

The Mebius' CATIA IFilter content filter enables indexing CATIA V5 documents. You can use Mebius' IFilter content filter with the following products:

Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2001
Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2003
Microsoft Windows® 2000 Indexing Service
Microsoft Windows® 2003 Indexing Service
Microsoft Windows® XP Indexing Service

Prerequisites

Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system and better

CATIA V5 R15 installed and licensed

Installation

Install the Mebius CATIA IFilter content filter:

Download the zip archive from Download area of the site anf unzip it in any location

copy MBSIFilter.dll and MBSIFilterImpl.dll to directory %WinDir%\System32 on your hard drive.(for example: "C:\WinNT\System32")

run regsvr32 %WinDir%\System32\MBSIFilter.dll

copy C:\Documents and Settings\<Your Login>\Application Data\DassaultSystemes\CATSettings to C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Application Data\DassaultSystemes\CATSettings

If the your CATSettings directory doesn't exist, start CATIA V5 first.

append CATIA_R15_INSTALLED/intel_a/code/bin into PATH variable of SYSTEM environment

Restart Indexing Service (cisvc) and update the index

net stop cisvc

net start cisvc

update the index

For SharePoint Portal Server start a full update of your workspace

Usage
After you install this filter, SharePoint Portal Server or Indexing Service can crawl and include CATIA V5 documents in the index. If you have any problems, check the Application Event log for additional information.
